IYN grew out of one clear vision: an exam-prep institution built properly from the start. We spent a year assembling the team, the technology and the materials before opening our doors — then began with thirty students in İzmir. Today we're one of Turkey's leading names in international exam preparation, with a growing alumni community behind us.

It started with a vision.

IYN began as one person's vision. Cenk Şen imagined a different kind of exam-prep institution — one built properly from end to end, not improvised as it went along. Before a single class was taught, that vision set the bar everything else had to meet.

The idea came first; the launch came a full year later — on purpose. For twelve months most of the work was invisible: interviewing and assembling the teaching team, building the technical infrastructure, writing the materials from scratch. Nothing went live until it was genuinely ready.

When the doors finally opened, we were ready in every sense — and we started small on purpose: thirty students in a modest office. Their results, and how they felt about them, did the rest; the next year word of mouth grew the numbers, and it hasn't stopped since. Today that means a deep teaching team, our own learning technology, and a growing alumni family — but the way we work hasn't changed at all.

For us, every student is more than a score. Every young person who walks into the classroom brings their own learning style, a quiet ambition, and often an unspoken worry. Our job is to listen to all three — and to answer. That's why we still keep groups small, still run individual follow-ups, still meet with families. We're not chasing scale. We're chasing outcomes.

Orçun Güngör

AP Biology Teacher

Graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School in 2001. Completed his undergraduate degree at Ege University Faculty of Science, Department of Biology in 2006.

Between 2006 and 2009 he completed a master's degree at Ege University's Microbiology Division, within an English-medium graduate program. In 2012 he received his pedagogical formation certificate from Ege University Faculty of Education.

Has been actively teaching since 2010. Since 2022 he has been part of IYN Education & Consultancy, delivering AP Biology lessons and preparing students for international exams.

Oğuz Yıldırım

AP-IB Physics Teacher

Graduated in 2017 from Boğaziçi University, Department of Mathematics and Science Education — Physics Teaching, completed as a combined undergraduate plus non-thesis master's program.

Has been teaching physics in different institutions since 2015, with particular experience in English-medium physics and AP Physics. Between 2021 and 2023 he served as AP Physics Teacher at a private high school.

Since 2023 he has continued as AP-IB Physics Teacher within IYN Education & Consultancy. Throughout his career he has completed STEM teacher leadership training and actively contributed to TÜBİTAK projects.

Lina Israil

Chemistry Teacher · PhD in Physical Chemistry

Graduated from Ege University Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry in 1996. Received her pedagogical formation certificate the same year. Completed her master's at Ege University's Physical Chemistry Division in 1999, and her PhD in 2005.

Worked as a research assistant in the Physical Chemistry Division between 1998 and 2006. From 2006 to 2009 she served as laboratory chief at a private company. Between 2009 and 2024 she was a lecturer at Ege Vocational School under Article 31.

Since September 2023 she has continued as Chemistry Teacher within IYN Education & Consultancy.

Graduated from Ege University, Department of Economics in June 2018.

Since November 2018 he has been teaching AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, Econometrics, Macroeconomic Analysis and Microeconomic Analysis on different platforms as a freelancer.

Süheyla Ünal

Psychological Counselor

Graduated with honors from Dokuz Eylül University, Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance in 2024.

As of 2025 she has been actively continuing her professional career as a psychological counselor — supporting students through the often-invisible second half of exam preparation.

Zümrüt Üstün

AP Psychology Teacher

Graduated with high honors from Ege University, Department of Psychology. In 2024 she began the Clinical Psychology Master's Program (English) at İzmir University of Economics.

She currently sees clients at the university's Psychological Practice and Research Center and is conducting her thesis work.

Since her undergraduate years she has been preparing students for international exam programs; since 2022 she has been teaching AP Psychology within IYN Education & Consultancy.
